V26-1189 : 333 OULTON ROAD, OULTON, UNAUTHORISED CAR REPAIRS AND SALES

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control outlined complaints that the curtilage of the above dwelling was being used for repairing and preparing cars for sale. The complaints also alleged cars being driven at speed along the drive and through the gates, and that cars were displayed for sale on the roadside and around the village. There was no planning permission for this use and no application had been requested as it was clearly inappropriate in this residential area.

RESOLVED

That the Chief Executive be authorised to serve a Stop Notice and to take all pursuant action to require the use for the repair, servicing, preparation for sale and the sale itself of cars or other vehicles to cease at 333 Oulton Road, Oulton.
