V26-1148 : HOUSING STOCK CONDITION SURVEY

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services detailed a proposal for a stock condition survey of all council properties to be carried out from April 1999.

A sample survey of 20 properties had demonstrated a need to appoint three surveyors for the first year and two for the second year of operation.

RESOLVED

That, subject to details being approved by the Housing Sub-Committee, provision be made in the Housing Revenue Account to enable a housing stock condition survey to commence no later than 1 April 1999, to be financed from the Housing Repairs fund contribution.
