V26-1128 : PROPOSED SITE VISITS TO DIFFICULT TO LET HOUSING

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services informed members that the Council's Project Appraisal Team had recently visited sites that were under consideration, or would be at a future date. This was felt useful, as some officers had little knowledge of the layout or location of the dwellings in question.

It was felt that as the Sub-Committee would be involved in decision making over future options regarding difficult to let housing a similar tour would be beneficial to members. It was also suggested that with the proximity of Caxton Court to Manor Court, Lowestoft, that site could also be visited to see the on-going work.

RESOLVED

That site visits to Difficult to Let housing at Caxton, Coppice and Whitton Courts, Lowestoft, Wolsey and Constable Houses, Beccles and St Margarets Court, Reydon be authorised as an approved duty, with a visit to view the progress at Manor Court, Lowestoft to coincide with the visit to Caxton Court, Lowestoft.
