V26-1126 : QUARTERLY STATEMENT OF RENT ARREARS
The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services provided the following statement of rent arrears for the period 1 July 1998 to 30 September 1998: Projected gross rental for year £12,076,486
Rent Arrears for quarter £308,907
Rent arrears for quarter as % of gross rental 2.55%
Rent arrears for same quarter in 1997, 1996 2.57%, 3.02%
The Chairman of Housing and Environmental Services Committee felt the results to date were pleasing, and drew attention to the work of the Estates Officers in achieving the low arrears figures.
RESOLVED
That the Quarterly Statement of Rent Arrears be received.
