V26-1110 : REVIEW OF CEMETERY AND BURIAL CHARGES

The report of the Director of Community Services reviewed the cemetery and burial charges for 1999/2000.

The structure of these charges was in need of overhaul to ensure that it met current demand and need, and the new Woodland Burial option was incorporated. It was therefore proposed that a full review be carried out in the near future.

RESOLVED

1. That the Cemetery and Burial charges for 1999/2000, as set out in Appendix B to the minutes, be adopted.

2. That a full review of the charges structure be carried out, incorporating the Woodland Burial option, and that a report be presented to a future meeting of this Committee.
