V26-111 : FAMILY LIFE AND MARRIAGE EDUCATION
The report of the Director of Community Services outlined a request from Family Life and Marriage Education (FLAME), seeking a contribution towards providing play schemes in rural Waveney.
The organisation existed to support and sustain education in Family Life and aimed to provide play activity in most of the Rural Development Area villages including those in Waveney such as Homersfield, Rumburgh, Brampton, Mettingham and Shadingfield where play opportunities of this type were limited.
RESOLVED
That a grant of £250 be made to Family Life and Marriage Education in support of their activities in providing play schemes in rural Waveney, to be met from the Leisure Revenue Grants budget.
