V26-1099 : STREET NAMING - LOWESTOFT NORTHERN SPINE ROAD

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control informed members that following the opening of Phases 3 and 4 of the Lowestoft Northern Spine Road there was a need for the new road to be named, under Section 17 of the Public Health Act 1925.

New road names were generally chosen by the developer, but in this important case, the County Council had agreed that the Council could name the road.

RESOLVED

That in view of the forthcoming millennium, an article be placed in the local press asking for suggestions for the naming of Phases 3 and 4 of the Lowestoft Northern Spine Road.
