V26-108 : WAVENEY SPORTS AND LEISURE CENTRE - BMX TRACK

The report of the Director of Community Services proposed the removal of the BMX track at the Waveney Sports and Leisure Centre, as the facility had not been used by the local club for at least two years. The cost of securing the area to prevent unsupervised use could not be justified, and it was considered that the area be made good by landscaping.

It was proposed that this project be submitted for consideration by the Environmental Task Force, an initiative supported by the Council.

RESOLVED

That a proposal for the removal of the BMX track at the Waveney Sports and Leisure Centre and for the area to be made good by landscaping be submitted for consideration by the Environmental Task Force.
