V26-1026 : W159501 - APPLETREES, HALL LANE, BLUNDESTON - BREACH OF CONDITION
The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control reminded members that planning permission was granted on appeal for the erection of a house and garage on land at Hall Lane, Blundeston on 1 March 1996. In order to achieve the required highway visibility splays the consent required the removal of an existing hedge at the front of the site and a replacement hedge reinstated immediately behind the visibility splay line, to be grown and maintained at a height of 1.5 metres.
The house had now been erected for some considerable time and the new hedge had not been planted as required, although a timber fence had been erected. To date the owner of the property had ignored all requests for the planning condition to be complied with. RESOLVED
That a Breach of Condition Notice be served on the owner of Appletrees, Hall Lane, Blundeston, for failure to comply with Condition No. 3 of planning consent W15950/1.
