V26-1024 : 112 DENMARK ROAD, LOWESTOFT - UNTIDY LAND AND BUILDING

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control advised that following local complaints the above property was found strewn with discarded household items. The site also appeared to be attracting more rubbish, dumped by others. The building was unsightly in itself because of boarded up ground floor windows and broken windows on the first floor. Letters to the owner and his agent had received no response.

RESOLVED

That the Chief Executive be authorised to serve an Untidy Land Notice under Section 215 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1991 on the owner of 112 Denmark Road, Lowestoft, and to take all pursuant action to secure the removal of all rubbish and other loose or discarded items from the exterior of the property, and the making good the fabric of the building, including the repair and reglazing of all windows.
