V25-999 : 26 VICTORIA ROAD, LOWESTOFT - UNAUTHORISED BUSINESS USE

The Director of Planning and Building Control had received complaints from residents of Victoria Road that a car valet business was being operated from 26 Victoria Road. Subsequent investigations had confirmed this use, and the business had been advertised in the local press.

Although the owner of the business had indicated that a planning application would be submitted in an attempt to regularise the use, no such application had been received. In order to prevent a continuation of the unauthorised use it was felt that enforcement action should be taken to ensure cessation of the use.

RESOLVED

That the Chief Executive be authorised to take all pursuant action against the unauthorised business use of car valeting at 26 Victoria Road, Lowestoft
