V25-998 : 3 HIGHLAND WAY, LOWESTOFT - UNAUTHORISED BUSINESS USE

The Council had received a number of complaints concerning an unauthorised business use at the above premises. It appeared that the owner of the property was buying second hand cars at auction and then re-selling the vehicles from the above property.

The owner of the property had denied that the activity was taking place but the evidence obtained from DVLC pointed to the contrary. It was therefore felt that an enforcement notice should be served on the owner of the property preventing a continuation of this unauthorised use.

RESOLVED

That the Chief Executive be authorised to take all pursuant action to secure the cessation of the unauthorised business use of car sales from 3 Highland Way, Lowestoft.
