V25-99 : W9342/4 TRIANGULAR SITE, CROMWELL ROAD, BECCLES

Outline application for provision of industrial premises including associated hardstandings and parking.

The recommendation of the Director of Planning and Building Control was for approval, as the land was allocated for industrial development. However, the Highway Authority were concerned with the access close to the railway crossing and considered that two accesses were unsatisfactory. The applicants had indicated that they were happy to carry out any reasonable improvements to the Cromwell Road junction to alleviate the access concerns.

The Town Council observation was also for approval.

RESOLVED

That the Director of Planning and Building Control be given delegated authority to grant planning permission to application W9342/4, subject to the resolution of access arrangements.
