Application for conversion of barn to dwelling.

The recommendation of the Director of Planning and Building Control was for approval, as this was a satisfactory conversion. The dwelling was intended for family use at present, but he considered that the western wall should be continued across for the likely future sub-division of the site. The Parish Council had no objections.

The Highways Authority had advised that the lane to be use for access was well trafficked and there was limited view from the corner. However, the landowner was amenable to reduce the bank of the corner, and the Director was satisfied that this would resolve the issue.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W7504/3, subject to resolution of access issue, removal of permitted development rights, and usual barn conversion conditions.
