Conservation area consent for demolition of builders office/shed.

The recommendation of the Director of Planning and Building Control was for approval, as this re- submission was of a reduced scale and met the previous objections of overdevelopment and overlooking. The Town Council strongly objected to the proposal as it was considered overdevelopment and contrary to Policy ENV23, out of keeping with the street scene, intrusive on other properties and reducing light, and there was no off-street parking provision. Objections had also been received from eight surrounding properties on similar grounds.

RESOLVED

That planning permission and conservation area consent be granted to applications W8271/3 and W8271/4 respectively.
