V25-954 : INTERNATIONAL CHORAL EVENT - PLAISIR

The Charter Trustees were reminded that earlier this year Councillors R. Carter, T. Carter and Rodgers attended the "Chorus International" event in Plaisir.

The event was attended by many twin town representatives and choirs from numerous countries participated. Lowestoft was represented by the Wenhaston Boys Choir, who had received a contribution of £100 from the Trustees towards their costs. Councillor Rodgers emphasised how proud they were of the choir and the performance they gave.

Councillor Rodgers was thanked for her report on this visit.

RESOLVED

That the report be received and the Chief Executive be asked to write to the Director of the Wenhaston Boys Choir expressing this Council's appreciation of the Choir work and the standard of their performance at the "Chorus International".
