V25-946 : COMMUNICATIONS
(a) Diana, Princess of Wales
The Chairman informed members that, further to minute 798(b), the books of condolence had been bound and were available for members to view outside the Council Chamber. She also informed Councillors that the books would go on public display for one week as from Monday, 17 November 1997. The following week they would be sent to Kensington Palace, London. After formal receipt the books would then be forwarded to be kept at the Spencer family's ancestral home at Althorpe in Northamptonshire. (b) National Consensus of Councillors
The Chief Executive informed members that the Local Government Management Board (LGMB) was carrying out a national Census of Councillors. The Chief Executive had circulated the Census Questionnaire with an envelope to each member, and asked that the form be completed and returned in the envelope provided to him. Once all forms had been returned the Chief Executive would forward them to the LGMB.
