V25-939 : DIRECT SERVICES COMMITTEE MEETINGS

The Chief Executive had received a request from members to hold meetings of the Direct Services Committee in the evening. Meetings of this Committee had traditionally been held in the late afternoon, and this had created some difficulties for members.

As the next meeting of the Direct Services Committee preceded this Committee by some two weeks the Chairman of Policy and Resources Committee authorised that all future meetings would be held in the evening.

RESOLVED

That the action of the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Chairman, in holding meetings of the Direct Services Committee in the evening be confirmed.
