V25-933 : CHRISTMAS ILLUMINATIONS CONTRIBUTIONS 1997

The Director of Community Services informed the Committee that previous recipients of contributions towards Christmas Illuminations had been invited to submit details of their anticipated expenditure for 1997. The information received had been used in the assessment of the proposals.

As in 1995, and in accordance with the decision at minute V22-348/7(2), an additional contribution was to be made to the Lowestoft Chamber of Commerce through the Lowestoft Charter Trustees to be met by a special rate on Lowestoft.

RESOLVED

That the following contributions be made towards the costs of providing Christmas Illuminations for 1997:
