V25-931 : REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCIES
The Committee considered the report of the Chief Executive which provided an update on proposals for Regional Development Agencies, making particular reference to the establishment of an Eastern Region Local Authorities Conference. The report detailed the implications arising from the proposed models for representation at the Regional Conference. It was suggested that the Committee authorised the Chairman to vote at the SCEALA meeting on 21 November 1997 in the way she considered best, taking account of all available information and the advice of the Chief Executive. RESOLVED
That the Chairman be authorised to vote at the SCEALA meeting on 21 November 1997 on the option of representation at the Regional Conference.
