V25-929 : WAVENEY DISTRICT COUNCIL/SUFFOLK HEALTH AUTHORITY

JOINT LIAISON MEETINGS

At minute V24-611/21 this Committee considered the decision by Suffolk Health Authority to award the former Anglian Harbours Trust contracts to Allington NHS Trust and James Paget Hospital NHS Trust.

It was resolved that the Council had no confidence in this decision in relation to the Lowestoft area, and that there was no value in continuing with the Joint Liaison Meetings between the two authorities.

It was felt that there could still be some value in having liaison meetings from time to time, and members were asked to reconsider their decision.

RESOLVED

That the Waveney District Council/Suffolk Health Authority Joint Liaison Meeting be reinstated.
