V25-877 : ISO 9002 QUALITY ASSURANCE ACCREDITATION AND

SUFFOLK FOOD LIAISON GROUP AWARD

Before the commencement of formal proceedings, the Chairman presented a certificate to the Environmental Control Section marking their recent achievement of ISO 9002 Quality Assurance Accreditation, which was reported at the last meeting. The Chairman thanked the staff involved for their hard work and dedication.

The Chairman also presented the Principal Environmental Health Officer, Food and Safety Section, with a certicate in recognition of a LACOTS award received by the Suffolk Food Liaison Group (SFLG), of which Waveney was a member. LACOTS presented annual awards for ideas of good practice in food law enforcement, and the SFLG had been awarded for their innovative scheme for monitoring mobile food inspectors.
