V25-860 : MINOR PROJECT CAPITAL GRANT

MUTFORD AND RUSHMERE VILLAGE HALL

Members were asked to consider a grant request by the Mutford and Rushmere Village Hall Committee towards the refurbishment of the Village Hall toilets, changing rooms and entrance lobby. The total cost of the work was estimated at £3896.

The present facilities were in a very poor condition and it was therefore proposed that a grant of 25% of the total cost up to £974 was given. The grant would be payable from the 1997/98 Minor Capital Projects Fund and would become payable only on the completion of the work.

RESOLVED

That a grant of 25% of the total cost, up to a maximum of £974, be made to the Mutford and Rushmere Village Hall Committee towards the refurbishment of facilities at their Village Hall, to be met from the 1997/98 Minor Capital Projects Fund.
