Listed building consent for installation of cash machine

The recommendation of the Director of Planning and Building Control was for refusal, as the proposal would be built into the frontage of the Bank and have a severe impact on the appearance of a good listed building.

The Town Council agreed with this view and suggested a secure lobby as an alternative.

RESOLVED

That planning permission and listed building consent be refused to applications W3982/7 and W3982/8 respectively.
