Application for the erection of a steel framed storage building.
The recommendation of the Director of Planning and Building Control was for refusal. Although there was no objection in principle to the proposed building in an industrial area, manoeuvring as submitted would take place at the front of the site, resulting in vehicles reversing onto Commercial Road. Highway reports suggested that as the applicant also leased land at the rear of the property from British Rail, a suitable, if not permanent access could be made to the rear of the property. RESOLVED
That planning permission be reused to application W11712/10.
