Outline application for residential development

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the above site had been before Planning Sub-Committee No. 2 in November 1994 for a major development which had never taken place. Since then, a different developer had become interested in the site, and had addressed issues raised in the previous application, resulting in a better layout broken up by open space.

Negotiations were in progress between the developers and planners regarding the possibility of the provision of funding or road improvements for the Carlton Colville bypass.

RESOLVED

That the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerning application W11123/27 be received.
