Application to extend bowling hall and social club, alterations to car park and vehicular access and improved landscaping.

This application had been deferred at the last meeting of the Sub-Committee for a site meeting.

The Chief Executive reported that certain legal and administrative issues had arisen with regard to the above application, the result of which was that the Council was conflicted out of making a decision. In these circumstances he recommended that the Sub-Committee request the Secretary of State to relieve them of jurisdiction in this matter and determine the issue on their behalf.

RESOLVED

That the Secretary of State be requested to assume jurisdiction in the matter of application W5563/11.

(Councillors Cherry and Keable declared an interest in the above item, and left the room during the debate).
