V25-805 : UNTIDY LAND - 30 QUEENS ROAD, LOWESTOFT

A number of complaints had been received regarding the condition of the front garden of 30 Queens Road, Lowestoft and the poor state of maintenance to the property, which was currently vacant.

The front garden was badly overgrown and various windows to the front elevation were either broken or missing. The property was clearly detrimental to the amenities of neighbouring properties and the surrounding area and immediate action was therefore required to restore the premises to an acceptable standard.

RESOLVED

That the Chief Executive be authorised to serve an Untidy Land Notice under Section 215 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1991 on the owner of 30 Queens Road, Lowestoft seeking restoration of the garden and property to an acceptable level of amenity.
