V25-765 : VILLAGE SHOP DEVELOPMENT SCHEME
The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Chief Executive which detailed an approach made by Suffolk County Council for the Council to participate in a Village Shop Development Scheme for the County. The scheme was a response to funding being available from the Rural Development Commission to help rural shops with grant aid in communities under 3000 population. RECOMMENDED
That a grant up to £2,000 per annum for two years to support the Suffolk Village Shop Development Scheme be approved, to be met from the Employment Generation Fund. * Commitment of Forward Budget.
