The Sub-Committee recommended that a fixed contract trainee be offered a vacant Trainee Technical Services Officer post, that the fixed contract post be re-designated Trainee Technical Services Officer and advertised, and that a work placement in the Section be invited to extend his hours to provide cover for the re-designated post until filled. (Para. 1)
