V25-729 : EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY IN EMPLOYMENT - WORKFORCE MONITORING
The Director of Central Services advised members that a report to enable the Sub-Committee to monitor, evaluate and review the Council's approach to equality of opportunity would be presented to the Sub-Committee in March 1998. In the meantime monitoring of the composition of the "white collar" workforce was carried out during April - June 1997. The findings were summarised in the report and provided a database against which progress could be measured. RESOLVED
1 That the report of the Director of Central Services concerning equality of opportunity in employment be received. 2 That a recruitment monitoring report be made to the March 1998 meeting of the Sub Committee.
