V25-704 : INDEPENDENT CHAIRMAN

HOUSING BENEFIT AND INTRODUCTORY TENANCY REVIEW BOARDS

The Chief Executive reminded the Sub-Committee that when the Homelessness Review Board was set up it was decided that the Chief Executive in consultation with the Chairman of the Committee, should arrange for the appointment of an Independent Chairman to that Board.

In the interests of consistency and fairness it was appropriate that similar arrangements should operate for both the Housing Benefit Review Board and the Introductory Tenancy Review Board.

RESOLVED

That the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Chairman, arrange for the appointment of an Independent Chairman to the Housing Benefit and Introductory Tenancy Review Boards.
