V25-670 : ACCOUNTING RESULTS 1996/97

The Committee considered the report of the Director of Central Services which provided details of the Committee's revenue expenditure in 1996/97 in comparison with its latest approved budget. It identified a net overspend of £21,000 after disregarding various internal transfers and allowing for expenditure to be completed in 1997/98.

There would be a net saving for the General Fund as a whole when all Committees' expenditure was taken into account.

RESOLVED

That the report of the Director of Central Services be received and approval given to carrying forward budgets of £46,000 for the completion of special works and other uncompleted items.
