V25-665 : HOTSON ROAD TENNIS COURTS, SOUTHWOLD
The Committee considered the report of the Director of Community Services which examined the future of the Hotson Road tennis courts, which the Council leased to the Southwold Tennis Club. The report outlined a number of options for the Hotson Road site, and members wished to see the site sold for housing development with a tennis facility being developed at Reydon High School. This option was financially viable as there was no cost for site acquisition, although the Tennis Club were reluctant to relocate in Reydon. RESOLVED
That negotiations with Southwold Tennis Club, Reydon Community Association and Southwold Sports Development Council be entered into with a view to relocating the Southwold Tennis Club to the former Reydon High School site.
