V25-658 : SERVICE MONITORING GROUPS
The Chief Executive reported that the Chairman of Policy and Resources Committee wished each Service Committee to appoint a Service Monitoring Group, to monitor the progress of services in developing and implementing their strategies. Meetings would involve service managers rather than directors and would be at times and frequencies convenient to members and officers, and an outline programme for each Group would be arranged by the Chief Executive. RESOLVED
1. That a Community Services Monitoring Group be established to look into the progress that services are making in developing and implementing their strategies. 2. That Vice Chairman Councillor Whatling and Councillors T. Carter, Goldsmith and Rodgers be appointed to the Monitoring Group for 1997/98, and attendance be authorised as an approved duty.
