V25-656 : LEISURE MANAGEMENT CONTRACT TRANCHE 3 - ANNUAL REPORT

The management of the Oulton Broad Yacht Station, Beccles Yacht Station and Southwold Harbour was awarded to Waveney Contract Services for a four year period commencing on 1 January 1993. This contract had been relet to Waveney Contract Services for a period of five years three months commencing on the 1 January 1997.

The Committee considered the Client's Annual Report which summarised the fourth and final year of the contract and the Client activities not subjected to Compulsory Competitive Tendering. The latter included the management of permanent moorings and hut sites, and the management of the Mutord Lock and Road Bridge.

RESOLVED

That the thanks of this Committee be extended to Waveney Contract Services for the past four years of the Leisure Management Contract Tranche 3, and it wishes them every success for the forthcoming contract.
