V25-63 : W15668/2 - LAND TO THE REAR OF "INVERNESS", ARBOR LANE, LOWESTOFT

Application for approval of details of planning application W15668/1 to construct a bungalow and garage.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reminded members that outline approval had been given for this backland development in May 1994. The details had now been submitted and were acceptable, however, a neighbour had objected to the height of the proposed garage, and the noise of traffic using the gravel drive.

The Sub-Committee considered that the row of trees on the site should be retained, and that the objector's comments regarding height of the garage should be relayed to the applicant.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W15668/2, subject to retention of tree screen and neighbours' comments being taken to the applicant.
