Application for extension, part conversion and renovation of existing outbuilding to form owners/staff accommodation and rebuilding of kitchen lobby with covered yard/freezer store.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the building proposed to be extended was currently used as a store. There had been some concern over loss of manoeuvring space at the site of the building, however, this area had never been intended to be used for manoeuvring of vehicles and so the recommendation of the Director of Planning and Building Control was for approval, subject to the building only being used in association with the hotel.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W6548/9, subject to the building being used in association with the hotel only.
