V25-611 : W1119/1 - LAND AT BECCLES ROAD/HOLLOW LANE, CARLTON COLVILLE
Application for residential development.
W15951/4 - CHAPEL ROAD/BECCLES ROAD, CARLTON COLVILLE
Application for construction of 192 dwellings and associated works.
W15951/5 - CARLTON COLVILLE BYPASS SITE, CARLTON COLVILLE
Application for new bypass and access to housing development.
These three applications were considered together as they related to the same area. The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the Parish Council had objected in principle to application W15951/4 due to the number of proposed access points in Hollow Lane. The Highway Authority had suggested that a maximum of six access points should be created, and the matter was now being discussed with the applicants. Concerning application W15951/5, a consultation exercise had taken place involving contacting 440 properties, press notices and 35 notices on site. There had been 37 objections to the application, mainly concerned with specific details and not the principle of the application. Consultants were now addressing these points. The Director of Planning and Building Control advised that these applications would come back to members for a decision at a future meeting of the Sub-Committee. RESOLVED
That the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerning applications W1119/1, W15951/4 and W15951/5 be received.
