V25-607 : UNTIDY LAND - 33 GROSVENOR ROAD, LOWESTOFT
Complaints had been received in respect of the condition of 33 Grosvenor Road. The property was badly damaged by fire two years ago and remained in a poor state of repair. The garden to the property was overgrown and rubbish had been deposited. Photographs of the premises were shown to members. The property was situated within the South Lowestoft Conversation Area, and as well as being detrimental to the Conservation Area the amenity of neighbouring residents was also adversely affected. Immediate action was therefore required in order to restore the premises to an acceptable level of amenity. RESOLVED
That the Chief Executive be authorised to serve an Untidy Land Notice under Section 215 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1991 on the owner of 33 Grosvenor Road, Lowestoft, seeking restoration of the garden and dwelling to an acceptable standard.
