Application for change of use of one room to solicitor's office.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that, although he preferred to see the business relocated as the applicant proposed to employ an assistant, this was a large house with adequate grounds and parking. Provided the main use of the dwelling remained residential in accordance with Policy E7 his recommendation was for approval.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W5724/5, subject to the main use of the dwelling remaining residential in accordance with Policy E7, hours of work being 8am - 5pm, any signage to be discreet and in keeping with the area, and use restricted to a solicitors office only.
