Application for change of use from car parking to production area, variation of condition no. 5 W822/10.

This item had been deferred at the last meeting of the Sub-Committee for further information and a formal application to be submitted. The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the proposal was likely to provide six new jobs, however, there would be a severe loss of parking in an area already under severe strain and alternative parking arrangements could not be relied upon to continue. Nevertheless, in view of the Council's policy to support economic development, he recommended approval.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W822/11.
