V25-538 : CONSERVATION AREA PARTNERSHIP SCHEME BIDS -

LOWESTOFT AND HALESWORTH

The Committee considered the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control which suggested bids for the final round of Conservation Area Partnership schemes to commence 1998/99.

RESOLVED

1. That Conservation Area Partnership scheme bids be submitted for Halesworth and Lowestoft as described in the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control.

2. That financial and staffing contribution as set out in the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control be agreed in principle, subject to a further detailed report on costs and content.

3. That public consultation be carried out on the proposed extension to the South Lowestoft Conservation Area in London Road South.

4. That a request be put to the Lowestoft Partnership Joint Panel to seek the support of Suffolk County Council.
