V25-536 : ACTION FOR MARKET TOWNS - RESOURCE IMPLICATIONS

The Committee considered the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control which examined the Council's role with regard to regeneration in the market towns.

RESOLVED

1. That officers support and encourage a regeneration initiative in Halesworth.

2. That officers attend meetings of the Beccles Initiative as appropriate, but make no commitment of resources at this stage.

3. That the Council seeks membership of the Action for Market Towns Initiative, to be met from the Local Plans Implementation Budget.
