V25-5 : COMMUNICATIONS
The Chairman announced that she had also received a fax from the House of Commons from Bob Blizzard MP which expressed Bob Blizzard's apologies for not being able to attend the Annual Meeting because of his commitments in the House of Commons. The communication informed Councillors that he would tonight be attending 11 Downing Street to meet the new Chancellor. In concluding he expressed how he had enjoyed being Leader of Waveney District Council for the past six years and expressed his thanks to Officers and Councillors for all their help and support during this period. He felt that like the new Government Waveney District Council faced many tough challenges and he wished the Council luck and best wishes.
