STRATEGIC TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING

The Economic Development and Tourism Sub-Committee at its meeting on 25 June 1997 considered the report of the Chief Executive regarding the establishment of a separate Tourism Development and Marketing Unit. The Sub-Committee recommended the establishment of the new Unit and requested that this Sub-Committee recommend the appointment of a temporary part time Clerical Assistant on Scale 1/2 for 20 hours a week for a period of 12 months.

RECOMMENDED

That a temporary part-time Clerical Assistant on Scale 1/2, for 20 hours a week, for a period of 12 months be appointed within the new Tourism Unit.

*No Budget Provision.
