W7406/2 WRENTHAM HALL, WRENTHAM

Listed building consent for single and two storey extensions and internal alterations and demolition of existing utility area.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the proposed extension to the Hall appeared bulky in relation to the narrow plan form of this distinguished building, and would involve the use of a partly flat roofed design; however, he recommended approval. The Parish Council's observation was for approval.

Generally, the Sub-Committee felt that the bulk of the proposed extension did not significantly detract from the appearance of the existing building, and the rear of the building was presently disorderly.

RESOLVED

That planning permission and listed building consent be granted to applications W7406/1 and W7406/2 respectively.
