V25-401 : CAR PARKING - BRIDGE ROAD AREA, OULTON BROAD

The Committee considered the joint report of the Director of Central Services and Director of Community Services which addressed issues raised by members at the last meeting.

Members felt that the report and recommendations now fully assisted those properties that had been 'cut-off' in Oulton Broad. However, it was stressed that the concessions addressed a unique residential situation.

RESOLVED

1. That the traffic regulation order for Bridge Road be modified to accommodate additional limited waiting spaces in the vicinity of Ivy Farm Dairy.

2. That the traffic regulation order for Bridge Road be modified to operate from 1 May to 30 September 1997.

3. That the traffic regulation order for Bridge Road, as modified, be confirmed.

4. That a residents' car parking concession be approved subject to the criteria set out in paragraph 3.4 of the report.

5. That the Chief Executive be authorised to advertise the amendment to the Off Street Parking Order, and if no objections are received, be authorised to confirm the Order.
