Application for alterations to shopfront and change of use of first floor from office to self- contained flat.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the ground floor of this building was sub-divided into two shop units, the second floor had been used as two flats for some years, and the first floor, currently office accommodation, was the subject of this application for conversion into one large self-contained flat.

The only drawback to the application was lack of parking and amenity space, however, members felt that anyone moving into the flat would have given consideration to these matters.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W12072/2.
