Application for first floor rear extension.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that this was a two storey rear extension which should be acceptable except that the design as submitted would be intrusive. There had been objections from neighbours, who had indicated that their objections would be withdrawn if the design was improved.

Following negotiations the applicant had conceded on the depth of the extension, however, it could not be recommended for approval.

RESOLVED

That the Director of Planning and Building Control be given delegated authority to grant planning permission to an amended application W16805, incorporating a satisfactory design.
